WLP: Sales Up, Inventory Down
01/30/2007   Land O' Lakes, FL

Sales of new homes in 2006 shot up 11 percent at Wilderness Lake Preserve – due, in part, to the strong sales of inventory homes – as a number of builders near sellout in this master-planned community in south central Pasco County.

With award-winning Wilderness Lake Preserve in its third and final phase, builders have seen increased demand for the community’s limited number of inventory homes, re-ports Janice Snow, vice president of sales and marketing for Lindell Properties, which is developing Wilderness Lake Preserve. To date, 830 homes have been sold in the community, and the average price in 2006 was $292,143 including homesite.

Wilderness Lake Preserve was named the best community in the Southeast during the most recent Southeast Building Conference, which covers 13 states in the southeastern United States. For two consecutive years, it also was selected Pasco County’s community of the year by the Pasco Building Association, which honored Wilderness Lake
