Lindell Properties' first joint venture was a commercial center on Hillsborough Avenue near Westchase, Tampa now home to six thriving companies. Later, the company's move into the world of residential development was also a joint venture with homebuilder, Mobley Homes to create an exceptional 270 new home community in an in-fill of Tampa 's Carrollwood area, Whispering Oaks.

INDEPENDENCE PARK:
43-acre site located within the Airport/Westshore area the City of Tampa; bordering Hillsborough County, once part of the Rocky Point Golf Course and yet still maintains much of its original openness and natural beauty. Plans call for a mixed-use urban residential, office and retail development. Phase I will consist of the renovation, redefining and updating of the existing 125,000 sq. ft three-story office building constructed at the heart of the site in the 1980’s. The goal will be to create a classic expression for today’s corporate residents with sellable condominium office units. Other construction includes a 1,000 unit parking structure adjacent to the building, and site work for the entire development.
Plans call for further phased development to include: approximately 1,000 residential condominium units in mid-rise towers (5 floors above parking), 120,000 sq. ft. of additional office space and approximately 40,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Site development is scheduled to be completed late 2007/early 2008. Phase I building construction scheduled for 2008 start with completion late 2009.
Independence Park is envisioned to be a tree-lined walking street of retail shops, restaurants and service professionals providing a social place where workers and residents may gather and interact day and night.
