Dick Greco

Dick Greco, born and raised in Tampa, started his career as Vice President of King-Greco Hardware Company - a family business in Tampa for over fifty years.

At the age of thirty-four, Dick was elected Mayor of Tampa - the youngest mayor of any city of over 250,000. Later, when serving his second term, he resigned to join the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation as a Vice President. The family owned corporation was the largest shopping center developer in the U.S. Dick remained with the DeBartolo Corporation for twenty-one years. During these years, he has participated in obtaining the government approvals for more than 22 regional mall projects.

After retiring from that position in 1995, Dick ran again for Mayor of Tampa and was elected by a 68% majority. In 1999, he was reelected to a second four-year term without opposition (a first in Tampa's political history).

In 2003, Dick returned to the corporate-world as Senior Vice President of the DeBartolo Property Group. In 2004, Carl Lindell, Jr., a long-standing friend and business associate, asked Dick to join the Lindell team as Executive Vice President. Dick brings his enormous wealth of knowledge not simply of the Tampa Bay area but in overall real estate, land acquisitions, financing and government processes with over 25 years of Real Estate experience.
